I dont know if people would be interested in discussing the implications of all EB categories turning current. Some of the points to discuss would be:
1) Processing times for I-485
2) Effects on future GC applications.

We got the EAD receipt for both of us.My EAD Status says card ordered but my spouses EAD is still pending. Any one in a similar situation? FP Notices receive for both of us.

I have applied for I-140 in Oct 2006 and hvn't recd I-140 yet (Nebraska)
My 485/EAD checks got encashed today. My questions is do I need I-140 before FP or EAD card.

Due to the big mess of July visa bulliten. Can I file multiple 485 cases to secure that one of my AOS case is accepted? Since once it is rejected due to improper filing, the next visa bulliten would be back to 2006 or 2005.
My situation is:
First I-485 case: I can file I-485 as principle applicant, and my spouse can file as dependent
plan to submit at the end of this week (Aug 11, 07).
Sencond I-485 case: My spouse can file as principle applicant based on his I-140, and I can file as dependent, plan to submit before Aug 17, 2007, with cover letter stating:
If the first AOS case based on xxx's I-140 is accepted, please withdraw the second AOS case based on YYY's I-140.
Is it doable? any potential issue? Thank you very much for your comments and advise. Urgent!!!

My I-140 was approved April 30,2007. The appoval letter indicated that not yet elligible for change of status. The I-485 was returned together with the checks we paid. Please clarify and what can I do next other than waiting?

We [Me(applicant) and my Wife(H4)] finally received our EAD's last week from NSC :> I have 2 questions:
1. Can i work part time.....apart from my 8 to 5 job based on my EAD. If yes, does the part time job need to be related or similar to my 8 to 5 job?
2. We had our FP done before we got our EAD's. Do we have to go back for additional FP after receiving EAD's? Anybody with similar situation?
Appreciate everyone's time.

Does the published cumulative demand data represent
a) all pending 485 cases that include primary applicants and their dependents
OR
b) all pending 485 cases that include primary applicants only?
If say, the demand data for EB3, till 2004 says 35,000 - does this mean there are a total of 35,000 pending cases in total OR does this represent primary applicants only?
If it represents primary applicants only, what is the multiplication factor we need to use to get an approximate number for total pending 485 cases?

Application was sent out on 8/8/07.
Received on 8/9/07.
Notice date on 9/20/07
Checks cashed on 9/21/07

Dear friends,
My post regarding calling up the members after registration has apparently disturbed some members, first let me apologize for that and for some postings regarding that matter. The calling option was ONLY intended to ward of unwanted and vicious members using this forum to work against our goals.
I understand that a lot of non-indians are in this forum(for instance, Greg Siskind quotes from these forums a lot), and my post could be interpreted as being against non-indians, but it was not the intention.
