No replies. So dropping idea of getting Business Credit Cards - perhaps it is not important at this stage.
Yes, I did get a business checkin card. Credit card, I guess, I can get only when the EIN number develops some history. Do you already have a business checking card?

EB-485 processing times in NSC is FOUR (4) Months for the visa number available cases, and also pending EB-485 cases whose visa numbers are current and ready to adjudicate . So does this mean that cases with PD's not current but ready to adjudicate will get their I-485 approved by 6 months . Can some one please break it down for me .

Guys. Is this 7% country limit a hard or soft one ?. Assuming 1,40,000 total immigrant visas, India would get 7% of it and that is 9800. Then you have the preference category. Assuming there are unused immigrant visas from other countries, how do they get allocated ?. Does anyone has clear idea ?.

I filed my I-485 in Aug�2007 and my I-140 is approved in EB2. My daughter was on dependent H-4 and her I-485 also was filed in Aug�07 as dependent on my GC. She completed 21 year in June�2008.
My question is if we receive our GC in current year, she will get GC as she already crossed 21 years? Appreciate your answer and thank you in advance.

Company A has filed my 485/EAD/AP. I am planning to change company B on AC21 after 180 days. Can I use AP which is filed by company A, for travel purpose after switching to Company B?

Folks,
I just realized that I forgot to add a piece of my employment history to the DS-160. I only realized it once I set up the appointment for H1-B stamping through VFS. I have all the corroborating paperwork (W2, paystub etc.) for that period. Do I need to re-do the DS-160? I already have an appointment and if I cancel the appointment and re-do the DS160 I might run the risk of not getting the date of my choosing. The problem is my existing company is a "successor in interest" of the company I forgot to mention. That is, I got my I-797 from this previous company.
Please not that the facts in the existing DS 160 are true. It is just that I realized that there is a gap that I might have to fill.

Say, there seems to be some confusion over the which is the SKIL bill and which is the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act (CIRA).
GovTrack lists the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act as S.2611, sponsored by Sen. Arlen Spector. This was the bill that the Senate passed on 05/25/06. OK easy enough.
If I do a search for securing knowledge innovation in GovTack, S.2691 pops up, sponsor Sen. John Cornyn. OK all good.

It is a one way street once that check is cashed. No refunds from USCIS. If the application gets returned from the mailroom for some mistake like missing signature, you will get your check submitted back.

Please submit contracts, statements of work, work orders, service agreements or letters from/with end-client firms requiring computer related services of the beneficiary. Evidence from other consultants or employment agencies not acceptable. The requested evidence should show specialty occupation work with the actual end-client company where the work will ultimately performed.
My company is big (250+) so why such?? if somebody had same RFE or any guidance or help regarding such matter is higly appreciated.

I joined and contributed already to the IV although I am not yet on the GC queue. I support you all with my heart.
I have a different concern about PERM filing. My application will be EB2 with Ms + 4 years as Senior Soft Eng, and my lawyer asked my manager to create the business necessity letter for MS degree. He is not experienced with this kind of paperwork and the lawyer seems to be just not helpful rather demanding... I was wondering if somebody in IV had to deal with this business necessity letter. Any information would be helpful...

I am applying my Labor on EB2 tomorrow (07/26/2007). Is there any glim chacne for me to get the approval before 08/14/2007? I am going through Atlanta. Please let me know how long is the average time to get the cetification from atlanta center. (One of my friend applied on 07/17/07 and got the LC on 07/23/07 from atlanta center).

Have you tried calling their office? From what you say, it been more than a month! Call the TX center and if their answer does not satisfy you, lodge an official complaint with the ombudsman's office.

What are the options when labor is being audited?
- Know the reason for audit
- Start a new process and make sure all the reasons from audit are covered under the new process
- When ready to file PERM, withdraw the old application and file a new PERM case
If you are not audited again, you will get the approval in less than 2 months.
