What not to wear in court. In court one should present oneself as professionally as possible. Usually this means a suit for men, and a conservative dressy outfit for women. No jeans in any case, and business casual may even be too casual, so khakis may even be somewhat under-dressed. But I suppose it depends on the court.

I am from the UK currently on an 18 month J1 visa in the US that expires in a couple of weeks.
I am going back to the UK and will be studying to get a degree and returning to the US for the summer on a temp J1 Visa. My goal is to get the degree and then apply for an H1B Visa to be here for up to 6 years through my employer.
My employer is supportive and would be willing to help sponsor me for a green card application. Can i start that application now and while i am waiting for it to be processed (i understand that it can take many years) still continue on the path of getting my H1 B visa? I would be considered under a employment category 3 as the job that i want is a Camp Director job and needs a bachelors degree.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated - i want this more than anything despite the fact that it is going to take years to achieve - i am driven! :)

My attorney want's to file my I-485 now to have a receipt that it is filed and sent back by USCIS. This shows up that I was capable of filing in July but I could not because USCIS did not accept on the last minute.
The Idea behind is that it will give advantage to my application if AILF wins the case.
Please let me know is this a good thing to do at this stage.

The Technology section of the New York Times (http://bits.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/04/13/googles-immigration-fixer/?partner=rss&emc=rss) this week ran an article about an employee at Google whose job it is to "fix" problems Google employees have with the immigration system. The article is interesting, but what is really striking is the tone of the comments to the online article. There is a display of real anger at Google's hiring of foreign workers in this time of economic hardship - when so many U.S. citizens are looking for work. Read the article. What's your opinion?

You can get I-20 etc. But I think you will have to go to home country to get your F1 stamped. But better check with a lawyer.

Here is my scenario...
1. Applied my first EAD thru some lawyer (hence G-28)
2. I am planning to renew it on "my own"
Can I renew EAD without Attroney help... I know the answer "YES" but the main question is... do I need to inform USCIS saying that I want to withdraw my lawyer's and hence G-28 which was filed along with my first EAD?
If anyone are sucessful, please help me...My question is not on how to self apply EAD..My question is whether we need to inform USCIS about G-28...

do you get a FP notice only if you file AP and EAD along with your 485 ?
FP is for 485. so even if you dont apply for AP or EAD, u should still get FP notice.

I love the G4, but I know it does have some problems with 3D rendering in some situations. I'm not sure why that would be happening.
personaly I use 600+ megs and I still find myself lacking in the memory department.
